This family shield originally hung in the little church in 't Woudt near the city of Delft (Nederduits-Gereformeerde Gemeente). This depiction is a 6-component ceramic mural that faithfully represents the original as close as possible. The use of the S in the surname is probably a personal preference of the author since the use of X was more prevalent in 't Woudt.
